Is the Internet a good servant but a bad master?

Systems of information technology co-creation and interconnection have been considered essential since World War II, when the principle of rapid information sharing did not exist among the powers. Thus, the idea of global interconnection was based on military advances and the need to expand technology. The turning point, however, first came with the World Wide Web (WWW), which focused on the comprehensive dissemination of information through text, images, and documents. Simply put, we use globalbrowserssuch as Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome to view information written on all kinds ofsitesand these tools and information are stored on interconnectedservers. Theserversare not only a source of information, but they are also a source of information. But is this service, so widely used, not also its greatest weakness?In this case, civilian use of the Internet and the World Wide Web is many times greater in terms of number of users than focused and highly protected military technology. People around the world are accustomed to using social networks and tools like Facebook, Messenger, WhatsApp, and Instagram. Photos, status, feelings, location notifications, relationship information, and family structures are posted through social networks. Simply put, with a little work and information gathering, a skilled analyst or hacker can figuratively construct the “lives” of all those who are publicly active.
I do not intend to claim and evaluate the lives of others, but the truth is that if we do not want to lose our public life, the best way to do so in this case is to at least limit the release of sensitive information that could harm us. We never know who is watching and may want to enrich themselves with our property.
