If you decide to visit South Bohemia, don\’t waste a day trip. Book a hotel and explore the region. There is always something to discover and see.

Head to the beautiful and famous castle in Jindřichův Hradec. It is not to be missed. It is one of the largest groups of monuments in the country. Here you can enjoy three sightseeing tours and a view from the Black Tower. Don\’t let the name fool you. The complex, which has grown over the centuries to an area of 3.5 hectares, stands on the site of an old Slavic hill fort built on a rocky promontory in the 10th It is located in the middle of the city.

A visit to the Fulboker Castle is truly a profound experience. The most beautiful castle in our country is the perfect place for a romantic figure. Its current incarnation dates back to the Schwarzenberg family of the 19th century. Visitors can see the sumptuous halls with carved walls, the castle kitchens with preserved 19th and 20th century furnishings, staff rooms, toilets, bathrooms, the Silver Room where the Schwarzenberg silver collection is displayed, and Renaissance and Baroque wine goblets. There are many more, including decorative silver and gold-plated vessels.

At the Fulvoker Zoo, about 3,000 specimens are displayed on 4.5 hectares of land, and about 300 animal species can be seen.

In České Budějovice, the South Bohemian Museum is impressive. The permanent exhibition presents the prehistoric, medieval, natural, and South Bohemian regions in historical, cultural, and folk art. There are also thematic exhibitions, complemented by an interesting accompanying program.

A visit to Slavonice is a no-brainer. Above all, its peaceful atmosphere will entice you to take a sightseeing trip to the surrounding area. Czech Canada begins just outside the town. One kilometer to the south is the forested area of Lower Austria known as the Waldviertel. When the town was taken off the main traffic route in 1760, the townspeople regretted it. Traffic was cut off and the town\’s development came to a halt. Today, however, one can still see the town as it was during the Renaissance.
